Here comes the sun

I came up with an idea which im thinking of suggesting to the inlaws. They cant afford to come to Aus to visit very often so i thought about having a holiday somewhere in between the UK and Aus probally America.

That way we should be able to see family once a year, rent a villa for a week or two and everyone pay for their own flights.

Has anyone done this?
Im hoping it might keep the peace!

As you personally would have to pay a fair amount for flights/villa to states anyway how about just paying half their Oz air fares? Unless you want to see them on neutral territory!

The neutral territory sounds good! Its more about flight times and time off work. I think it could work for the years we dont visit the uk or they cant get enough time off to visit us.
