A meet up in for the brissy or northsiders

Does anyone fancy doing a meet up at the end of june??

I was thinking around the 24th June or the 1st July. Both are sundays. If thats no good then maybe a saturday on those weekends.

Anyone have an idea on where. We like a beer or 2 but will be bringing the kids

Let me know your suggestions everyone & we can go from there!!

I need a good day out & soon!! lol:D

If you do central then you might get South and Northsiders. New Farm has the Park for the kids. Wasn't at the South Bank one so not sure how that went. Not sure what others think but we might be up for one. Probably bring the kids, 6 and 9.

Will keep watching this....

Cheers

Hi all,
we are over in Brisbane for a weeks reccie and would love to meet up with you all. :)

Sun 24 June would suit us and we can make any location, but may be a bit late as we haven't got a clue where any areas are  So we will need a strong drink on arrival

Hi,

We are pretty new to Brisbane. We've only been here 5 weeks and would like to meet up with some others. We'd like to come along as well if possible. 3 of us in total.

The plough sounds ok to me. We can easily jump the train to South Bank. Think there's parking there as well. Like you say it's near the 'beach' and the markets will be on if people want to wander. The BBQ areas would be good but I'm still not any use at getting up at the crack of dawn to bag one! The other place might be the PIG and Whistle, Riverside. That's a fairly big pub...Only ever been there on Girlie nights out. Not been with the kids during the day so couldn't comment.

Any ideas of what date suits most people..

Cheers

well i suggested the 24th but see what others say. The plough is goood for me as you can sit outside, not sure if you can at the P & W

When i said southbank i meant the man made beach. sos i got confused!!

&b yeah you do have the markets etc there too which is good!
