meet & Greet Brisbane

Re: meet & Greet Brisbane
yeah exactly! offer most of us a beer or two and we will quite happily act as free (ish) guides for the day! You dont need to pay anyone 100's of dollars, last time I looked round this is an english speaking country so no language barrier to warrant paying for a guide. Most of us on here will quite happily part with info, a bit of time to help others, thats what BE is all about

Re: meet & Greet Brisbane
Hi
Looking at moving to Brisbane in Sept have been looking north of Brisbane and would like as much information as possible on meet and greet and short term lease. Has anyone used any of these services is it just as easy to book into a hotel or apartment then look around.
Any help would be greatfully apreciated, am a bit concerned as have three children 1,2,3, so its going to be difficult managing them and looking around houses rentals so want a simple life.
Please post...........

Re: meet & Greet Brisbane
hi there
we are also going to brisbane in september, May see you there!
someone has already mentioned www.brisbanebound.com we have actually booked 6 weeks with them and it was about $640 a week, a little more expensive than long term rent but not committed for 6 months if you dont like it!
They do a meet and greet and are very helpful as they have been through the process themselves.
Hope this helps a little,
Beth

Are these furnished propertys........thinking along the lines on renting a caravan cabin so the kids can a few weeks of fun while we look around for property and wait for our stuff to arrive and then look for a beer swigging wine guzzling monster to take us around and give us some information on the area so we can get a good inside and an honest opinion.
