Meds Done!!!!.......
Wicked..just got back from meds in Hitchin..top service..very posh..Meds easy peasy!!!Got done for an extra £50.oo due to tattoo!!!!

Why did they charge an extra £50 because of a tattoo ? surely blood test covers everything ? Interested to know as I have several and my wife one.

HI..They reckon cos they have to do another 2 tests at the lab so it was another £25.00 for each test!!

Typical robbin' barstewards !
The blood test is for everything including HIV, Hepatitis etc etc, god knows what the other two tests are - or is that just for their own back pockets - umm I wonder

normally the blood tests are done for hiv but if you have a tattoo then hep b blood tests are done better to be safe than sorry

Had our meds last week, wifes a nurse,she took all proof of her recent blood tests done through her work, HIV ,HEP-B and HEP-C, plus proof of her boosters. The doc wouldn't accept them and charge her another 50 quid to get them re-done.....robbin barsteward.

The doc took a look at my tattoo and didn't even comment it during my medical
Isn't it wierd how the medicals can be so different depending on what doctor you use ?. I guess that I just assumed that all medicals for AUS migration purposes would be exactly the same format as requested by DIMIA
