Meds: Anyone use Gloucester or Bath?
Just sorting all this out - wondered if anyone had used the Gloucester or Bath doctors for the check-up - wondered about the medical itself (a kick-the-tyres, or a rubber-glove-and-ky) and the costs.

We had x-rays done at Bath clinic, it was £140 for 2 adults. We didn't need medicals as we are on a 457 visa, but 2 kids had medicals at £50 each. It was very basic, just weighed and measured and chests listened to. We will have to have our medicals in Oz for PR and then will need blood tests also.

We had our medicals done while we were in Sydney on the recommendation of our agent so can't comment on it from an adult perspective.

Obviously the North/South divide counts for meds as well as houses etc.
Maybe one day someone will get hold of these bandits and make them all charge the same fee - what you're paying for is the same wherever you go!!!
