Medicines
 
can we carry medicines to australia
i am planning to carry atleast three months basic medicine of my spouse mostly vitamins , calcium and folic acid dose for pregnancy
my question is
1. do we need to declare it on airport in australia
2. do we need prescrption to show them

If in doubt ALWAYS declare it, no matter what it is.

No problems so long as you declare everything. Don't need a prescription but do keep in original containers.

Each time we travel we don't declare it but we do carry letters from doctors confirming what drugs we're carrying and who needs it and why. Never had any issues. For stuff like Folic and Calcium I wonder why you need to bring that amount, they're easily obtainable here.
