Cool Medicals requested

We received our medical and police check requests today in the post. I'm still shaking! We're on our way........

timeline.....
27/05/03 : sent off application
03/06/03: received acknowledgement email and CC charged
10/02/04: request for medicals and police checks

Applied as electronic engineer which IEAust assigned to 2129-79 ASCO-code with me as the de-facto spouse

I think we'll be celebrating tonight

Cheers
Lisa

Hi we also got med requests yesterday and had them waiting so off they went today!!. I sent police clearance last week(unrequested) as I had to send a change of address form anyway.
By my reckoning she would have received them two days after requesting them!!
Anywaygood luck with Melbourne
Regards mike, Yvonne, Aly and Vicky

Have been reading all you guys threads that have resently got you requests for medicals, and can see that request are following some sort of pattern, those who appplyed last year now getting asked. My question is what do you do for jobs and does it spead things up if you have job offers to go to or are on the jobs in demand list. i am a nurse and am planning to apply in april for my visa i intend to front load medicals as i have job offer, anyone had any experience of this and how quick is it?

Thanks everyone - I still can't believe it! We are not as organised as you guys and I have the daunting task of phoning round all the local medical doctors now to try to find the best deal :scared: and the one that can fit us in the quickest!

Cheers
Lisa
