Medical Secretary / Transcriptionist

I would like to know the possible opportunities to work as Medical secretary / transcriptionist in Melbourne.

I worked as a medical transcriptionist in my home town for 2 years, is this good enough to get a job in the same field in Melbourne, I would like to know whether I need to undergo any course to work as a medical secretary / transcriptionist in Melbourne.

I wish to hear from you more about the medical secretary profession in general.

regards
Mrs. Prem

Look at the jobs website www.seek.com.au

You can select the city, area, profession and position type you're after and do a search. When you find some advertised, and it's mostly recruitment agencies that advertise, nothing to stop you contacting the agencies and asking some general advice explaining you are coming here and would like to register with them for work upon arrival. Another one is

www.careerone.com.au

Good luck. :)
