Default Medical Condition Question

My middle son, who is 8, has a condition called Superventricular Tachycardia (SVT) and is currently on 6mls of Atenolol (beta blocker) every day until such time as his heart is fully grown and he can have some lazer treatment to 'zap' the extra bit of 'wiring' he has in his heart which makes it race.

Would anyone on here know if this will be a no-goer re the medical?? Its something that has been in the back of my mind and Id rather know if its likely to be a problem than assume its not and be disappointed.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hi Kari,
I don't know the answer to your question but I bet the appointed medical examiner in your area would. If he/she doesn't then they could always e-mail the chief medical officer for DIMIA like our doctor did when he had a query about Andrew's eyes. We got a reply back in around 10 days. Hope this helps.

This kind of medical question can't really be answered on an online forum, and not too many agents specialise in this area - one that does is Peter Bollard in Sydney
