Hi Everyone,

Have posted this query on the Immigration section but only had 2 replies and just looking for a bit of reassurance really.

As long as no problems are found, in general from your experiences/knowledge how long after your medicals arriving at the Local Clearance Unit, Sydney did you get a decision on your visa?

Ours have been there 2 weeks.

Where you asked to go for them or did you just send them off and what Visa are you going for?

Our migration agent suggested to front load our application. We are going under Employer Nominated Scheme visa.

Well ours is a 136 which is a trade Visa, my husbands being one of the most wanted trades and we were asked to go for our medicals and it took about 6-8 weeks after they receiced it in Auss to get a reply by email.

I have spent loads of time looking into this and alot of the agencies make people go for the medicals before they have been requested and it doesn't seem to save anyone much if any time, as they still will request that you go for the medicals and when you reply that the docs have already been sent, it takes them just as long to match them up in there office as it does to go and have them done and send them off.

Hi Keebs,iam going on a 457 visa and they arrived on the 1st july at sydney and we go a replay on tuesday just gone about 2 weeks so dont panic we had the dima with the stamp in his hand because my employer was pushing him and he was very good
