when it comes to oz house asking you for your meds and police checks, does that mean that they are satisfied with the paperwork / qualifications etc so far submitted?

Hi Rday
I would say yes they are satisfied with the rest of your paperwork, as surely they wouldnt waste their time sending you for medicals if the rest of your paperwork isnt up to scratch . So as long as your police checks and medicals are ok you should be in !!!!

Re: medical
I wouldnt be absolutely sure on the rest of the paperwork being fine, more than likely seeing recently my fiancee and i have applied for a fiancee visa, that they will collate all paperwork before the actual process begins, so i would be under the assumption that they agree that you have all your paperwork required apart from medical and then the process will start

It would be interesting to hear if anyone has actually submitted medicals and
subsequently been refused for some non-medical reason that would have been evident
before the medicals were requested.

Re: medical
Picking again , im not an expert but surely they would check your application is satisfactory before they ask you to go and do medicals. Mind you the whole bloody system seems ass about face to me anyway. You have people that applied nov/dec 2000 and are still waiting its very unfair.

I don't think there is any set rules
