Couldn't agree more!!
Sandy, our Boxer, taught us the hard way by chewing a hole in the front door and legging it when she was young!!
For those with concerns.....doggies are den animals and love to be in a cozy, secure place they can call there own. RSPCA approved as well!!

To be fair, she was 9 months old when it happened, taught us a lesson though. She took to the crate like a duck to water (requires a gentle introduction over many weeks mind you)!
Still recommend though as we both work full time and gives us peace of mind that she's not putting herself in any danger whilst we're out....plus she's a lazy gert sod anyway, so sleeps from the second she's in there to the second we let her out!!

I remember after the 1st night of Max whingin I took the crate up to the bedroom and had it next to me ...
Each time he'd whinge, I'd stick my fingers in the crate and he'd shut up, but as we all know that is NOT good! ...lolAt the end of the day you have to teach him that whingin gets him nowhere!
One thing I love about Staffy's (IF all are like it ?!) is that they aint very vocal dogs ...
Max will do a single cry kind of sound when he wants to go out in the garden, and a single bark when he wants to come back in, both get louder till he's recognised, but that normally does it.
He VERY RARELY will bark for any other reason tho. I let him out in the garden once in the early hours and it was dark and he flew up the garden barking like fudge! ...
I heard sommit fly up and over one of the fence panels, and to this day don't know if it was a person, fox or what. I know the foxes slip thru my garden as I've seen the ripped bags and also max goes right off on a sniff thing all over the place! ...lolOh yeah, he growls tho at certain other dogs, and WILL go for them if given the chance, which IS quite embarassing given how some people see the breed ...
As I said it all started after some stupid dog went for him ... He's not been the same since ...
Absolutely lovely dogs tho, love him to bits.
