Default Mattress sizes NZ

I know .. this is a really boring question but if anyone could help it would be great. We are planning on shipping "everything" now and were thinking about keeping the bed frames but chucking the mattresses and then buying new ones in nz. Will the NZ mattresses fit the UK bed frames

I'm not 100% sure but I think the general answer is yes.

There was a thread a whle back about Aussie bed sizes, and they're the same for NZ I think. (Probably american sizes originally)

ie a NZ double bed is the same as a UK queen, and a NZ queen is a UK king. then there's NZ king size, and super king I think.

Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, but have a hunt for the old thread - that might help.

in a word ..yes!

we just got all our stuff inc. beds
doubles are the same as are queens and kingsize,no probs

your teles will work only through a sky box though due to the higher bandwidth, besides which telestrial tv tuning will get you onl 2 channels anyway.
Portable tvs ..probs with the sound.

i dont know too much about electical stuff, but in order to get good sound they need modulators to get the band frequency.

make sure your DVD is either multi zoned or that it can be chipped,as australasia is region 4,europe region 2
regards
