marriage plans
hi all
does anyone know what delays we have caused ourselves,we applied for pr on 8/4/03 under de-facto relationship but have just changed our minds.we have decided to get married before we go so as to give the family and friends a chance to celebrate with us as many of them would not be able to visit oz granma especially after all her ops shes 20% pig now.it will also give our son and daughter [tia & max]the chance to show off in front of all ther relatives.hopefully we hav'nt caused to much of a setback.have sent a picture of my monsters anyone else going with children a similar age 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 just wondering how long it will take them to adapt as this is my only concern about moving .
regards

hi Mark,
just read your post, we are about to apply using the de-factor relationship(what a mouthful), we are supposed to be getting married next year possibly July but we also are considering getting married before so as to speed things up having read that we have to prove this that and the other! it seems that getting married makes it easier. We also have children about your childrens ages Emily is 3 and Jude is nearly 1 and we have an older daughter from my 1st marriage Annaliese age 12.
We are applying on hubby's skilled work how about you?
Are you with an agent? we are and I will asked him whether it will make a difference if we get married earlier. Will get back to you on this.
great pics of kids!

Me and the missus deicided to get married rather than do the whole De Facto thing, seems like to much trouble, as we've been together for almost eight years it was only a matter of time anyhow, so this time next week i'll be a married man and one step closer to my dream!

We got married last August because we wanted to firstly but from a visa point of view it makes life alot easier too.
We took Oliver to Oz this year for belated honeymoon and he loved it, feeding wild roos and watching him have so much fun, life doesn't get much better than this!!
