Marine Insurance
Can anyone please help? Have got Brittaina coming next Thur/Frid to pack all our worldly possession! Ok not all of them leaving alot behind and have filled in there insurance form and have worked out how much it would be to replace everything etc. With the container costing £4,500 and husband with a garage full of tools OK slightly exaggerated half a garage full worth about £8,500, he is a builder here so you name it his got it!!
We think we have done a good estimate of what it would take to replace it all and it comes to 25K
The premiuim comes in at just over £800 anyone else got any other ideas how to go about it. Hubbie said do not insure it all yeah right!!! I know that the Brittainia will not take the goods unless you have the proof that you have insured it all.
We will have good money but it is in the house and not all gone through yet, do not have a date yet!!! But need to send container before for hubbie to work etc.
Any ideas will be helpful.

Do a search for Letton Percival. They are insurance brokers and you can get the marine insurance for between 1 - 1.5% of the insured value.
