Making regular money transfers to the UK
Hi All
What's the best, easiest and cheapest way to send money back to the UK on a monthly basis? I'm continuing to make voluntary payments to my ex for our two children once I arrive in oz next month. Any transfer costs I will probably deduct from the allowance. But any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks.
Anyone else in the same predicament?
John

Telegraphic Transfer through Commonwealth bank costs AUD22 - there may be additional receiving fees depending on which Bank money is being sent to in the UK

They don't charge any fees?! - there no such thing as a free lunch - they'll get you somehow, probably with higher exchange rates

Tranzfers charge $15 (or £7) per transfer, very quick and easy. I had a blip today with them cos my emails were playing up, couldn't fault the service as the whole problem was ironed out in 10 minutes and the transaction done too

Just opened an account with HiFX and was really impressed with their service.
