Does anyone know what sort of school this would be? Any info out there?

Christian teaching - usually lots of bible classes and strong on discipline. Protestant in the traditional germanic (Lutheran - after Martin Luther 1483 - 1546) style. Most common in areas with higher than average german and central european immigration in the 19th and early 20th century.

Plenty of info on the web but don't rely on the American sites - not always the same thing at all.
