Lunch - Getting old
Just had lunch with a NZ friend and we both agreed that living in the UK (or London at least) has aged us. This will either make those moving to Australia feel better, or otherwise, make you think you should stay on and not make yourselves soft!!!!
|
Since I moved to London from Perth I have put on 2 stone, lost a lot of my sense of smell and taste and developed numerous other complaints I have never had in my life before.
I left Perth 6 years ago at the age of 26 - now I feel like I am a 50 year old most of the time. (Though to be fair a lot of that is probably to do with having a toddler and working full time). |

Personally, coming to London in my late 20's I'd say spending too much time in the excellent variety of bars and clubs has definitely aged me ! As someone once told me - when you are tired of London's nightlife, its time to leave London:) |
I left London a year ago. Since then, my fingernails have started growing, looking strong and healthy. My skin has taken on a youthful glow instead of a sallow complexion, and my mind is free of stressful living.
