Luggage allowance
Flying with qantas in april one way to perth, is there an extra allowance for baggage for migrants and if so how does one claim it, I have validated my visa nearly 3 years ago and have not previously had an extra allowance offered .Anyone had experience of this or is it just an urban myth?

Having said that, give them a ring and ask! Nothing to lose.

Re: Luggage allowance
I've been researching this topic hard. British Airways seems to come out on top every time. £32 for the first extra 20kg (suitcase) then £72 there after.
If anyone can find a better deal please post.

Re: Luggage allowance
Virgin Atlantic have a similar charging scheme to BA but only fly LHR to SYD.
Be aware that BA extra luggage is great, however only applies to BA flights and not those operated by Qantas which is often the case on the SIN > AU sectors of the journey, despite being booked with BA.

Singapore will give you double for free on a unused first time entry PR visa.
