Default Lost in transaction

I done a quick search but can't find owt on this one...

Has anyone had eftpos transactions not appear on their bank statements?

3 times now.
The 1st about 4 months ago. The transaction did eventually appear 6-7 weeks later.
2nd and 3rd times about 2 months ago, still haven't come through. The bank has no record of them.

How long do you wait for them?

My statements look quite odd at times.

Money appears to be debited only to be immediately credited.

Unfortunately it doesn't end there.

The transaction then correctly goes through some weeks later with a note referring to EFTPOS downtime.

Yeah, that's the other thing. We get that all the time. It always ends up correct, but it looks worrying when there's a debit then a credit then debit then credit..... I've seen six transactions on a statement relating to a single charge in a shop. Wot goes on there?
