Haven't seen my UK driving license for ages- don't care!

I was going to show my WA truck driving license in Melborne when I arrive to hire a car - then convert it to VIC later yadda yadda.

Now I've lost my wallet and lost my WA driving license.

So...

can you get a replacement WA license in another state eg VIC/NSW?? I'm pissed off as I'm sure the bueracracy will be a pain.

and now I will have to get a replacement UK one.....grrr..so as I can hire a car!

any ideas?
