Although you don't realise it you are in a great position to find friends. As your baby gets older toddler groups and schools are a great way to meet people in the same position as yourself and it will get better.

Happyscot, you definately need some time out. Have you thought about putting your baby in care, for just a short period, maybe just once a week, so you can aimlessly wander or have a cuppa somewhere?

If you are feeling really depressed, you might like to talk to a Doctor too. He or she may be able to help.

Don't be fooled into thinking everyone thinks Australia is wonderful. There are lots of wonderful things in Australia but it isn't for everyone. It's not just you.
