Looking for place to settle North of Brisbane

Well it looks like we will be relocating in January to Brisbane, and I'm looking for help to find a nice area North of Brisbane before I go and do my rekkie.:thumbup:

I am looking at Mango Hill, Kallangur, Murrumba Downs, North Lakes sort of area and have been looking at North Lakes State College for my daughter to start prep.:)

Can anyone adise me on this area, all help welcome :thumbsup:

I live in Buderim on he sunshine coast but I work in north Brisbane.
A few of the guys at work live in North Lakes and they really like it. I went and had a good look round when we first moved and thought it seemed nice with some good shopping etc. They are building plenty of new houses in this area so there are plenty on the market. There are loads of expats ther according to my boss, so there should be meets etc
