Looking to make friends in Melbourne
 

Hey

My husband and I are from Scotland and have now been here in Melbourne for just over 3 months. We have 2 young adult children back in the UK but have our 2 awesome dogs with us. We are in our very late 40s ;) and would like to make some new friends. Anyone out there?

Where abouts in Melbourne do you live? Me and wifey are in Heidelberg Heights (North East-ish Melbs).

Cool. Been in Oz for 14yrs but only 1.5yrs in Melbs. How have you faired making friends in Melbs?

Took a while! I'm a quiet person but have made some friends through work and interests. Hope you're settled in Melbourne now, it's a great place to live!

Cool. Hoping to make friends but my current job means I work all alone but hoping to find work in the CBD and make friends through work. I do like Melbourne. Makes me not miss England quite so much and is such a vibrant place to live. Way better than bogan Brisbane ;)
