Looking to emmigrate(Require service manager job)
 
I am currently a service manager with 18 years experience. I am looking to move with my wife, 2 kids and my dog to Melbourne or sysney.
I have a management qualification for service management but I have not qualified as a technician.
Where do I start?
I have applied for a few jobs recently.

Start with a good read of https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visa...g-in-australia to see if your job qualifies for a visa, whether you can get permanent residence or just a temporary visa, and whether you can pass any skills assessment.

Might help us to help you if you let us know how old you are?

I am 46 year old, my wife is 36 and both kids are 10 and 6.

Then I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but its almost impossible to gain PR through skills after 45. Does your wife have askill on the lists at all?
Might be worth a quick call to a registered agent, there are some who post on here, but you are very unlikely to be able ot move

You will still be pushing things, particularly as your situation isn't straight forward. I recommend you consult a good registered migration agent ASAP. A skills assessment can take several months. You need that and other aspects before you can lodge an eoi. It can then take months to get an invite, if you turn 45 in the mean time, you become ilegible
