Looking at dirt cheap flights from AU to UK in April.
Was wondering if anyone can recommend somehting very cheap to go back form AU to UK. Not fussed where i stop over but it's for 1 adult & a child.

Are you flexible on dates? If so, try to avoid Easter and the Royal Wedding. We're going to the UK end of March, back early April, in order to avoid those times when flight prices will probably jump up.

Flexibly on dates yep definately! completely understandable that prices would go up on those events.

According to Adioso cheapest one way from Gold Coast to Stansted on Air Asia in April is $891 (not including bags, food etc). Only 3 dates in April under $1000 one way. These flights also involve a long connections in KL.
Best possible return fare looks to be about $1665+bags+meals.
e.g. 04 Apr - 20 Apr.

I'm one to shop around for flights..
I know, I know, its a habit of mine..
But I often come back to the same one which is
www.zuji.com.au
Quite often, their flights are cheaper than going direct to the airline.
Sometimes if you put a stopover in (multi choice) you can even get a better deal and airline that what is first shown if you put say Brisbane to London(?) in the search.
Play around with the Zuji web site and see what prices you can get.
Have fun.

We're going SQ in JULY for $2,200 per person all inclusive 
I looked at Air Asia and figured that once you add the meals, the luggage and whatever else they don't tell you about, it would probably work out the same
