I'd recommend a business class seat to stick under your arse.

Fantastic!! I love my bamboo needles, so that's tops! :D Hurrah, many thanks

Yoga pants, tshirt and undies, full set of fresh clothes and rolled up only takes up a tiny space.

Thin lightweight hoodie, pulling hood over my head helps me sleep + cotton black eyemask.

Small medicine kit, a few asprin, stomach ailment, sore throat tabs etc.

Anti bac wipes, get the germs off the seat/remote so I dont get sick before I even start!!

Pile of magazines/books, 50c in the op shop, and cause you only paid pennies you dump them as you read them.

Plastic bag for used clothing.

Old socks or slippers you can chuck out for walking round cabin.

Drink plenty of booze on the plane, it makes the trip go faster and is a lot of fun.

It amuses me that, a couple of years ago, you had the smallest in-ear headphones you could get. Now the flights are full of people looking like they're about to do a set in Eyebeefa - my husband included.

I still wear in-ear phones, decent ones that fit well but have to say, after a 13 hour and 7 hour flight, my ears feel bruised for days :(

Sony make a pair of noise cancelling in-ear headphones which JB Hifi have on sale at $99. Pretty good price as they cost $199 from the Sony online shop!

Oil of olbas/vicks

My nose always bungs up on long haul - its very refreshing to inhale a scented tissue and clear the airways :-)

And then drink ...

I don't have any issues with Deep-Vein Thrombosis (DVT), but I got a pair of good quality compression socks, which I felt made a big difference.
