Re: London to Sydney
You are aware how these laws work right? In a small part of the city, (where no one but bogans go) you cannot get entry after 1am. If you are in all good.
It's no big deal to the locals. Locals don't go to these areas. Therefore it shouldn't be a big deal to you. Branch out, discover somewhere else other than the Rocks.

So you weren't aware. Well that explains it.
Sample away. Nothing stopping them or geriatric party boys like yourself.

Fair enough, but it would go someway to explaining the alternative universe that you live in

It's a very happening area. I went past the Green Square library a couple of days back. Looks flash and open. What's the deal there. Does it go underground? Kind of looks like it given the shape of the building. The whole area from Central down to Botany is a pick. It's kind of already gone boom but there's still a lot more to go.

Too many comments to try to quote properly but, Troubadour, I think you're missing my point. I don't know anyone that lives here that goes out on the piss in the city centre. We may go in to restaurants but I assure you I'm more of a quality than quantity kind of a girl; I'm a card carrying champagne socialist
I think you're seeing the city from a visitor's viewpoint, even if you have spent extended periods here. Not many of us locals go to Darling Harbour on a Saturday night (thank you Time Out for that reference).

Not there yet. It did seem to disappear from the plans but we've been assured it's coming.

Like you, no one I know goes to Darling Harbour, CBD or Rocks for a night out. It's full of bogans.

I grew up with one set nearby and one set a long way a way. The ones that were close by never got involved. They weren't interested in leaving the house. I found the ones far away more interactive. Perhaps that was because it was a novelty in seeing them and you appreciated the time more when you did.

Quite typical of a certain Aussie, inability to debate without being abusive. Luckily I'm better looking, likely more far more well hung, and loads more doodle than you and way beyond being geriatric. Best back to your attempt at flogging condo's I suppose.

I stayed longest in North Shore, Willoughby, for goodness sake hardly a tourist. I don't often venture to Darling Harbour. Usually stay on other occasions in Randwick/Coogee and Newtown. Last year it was Potts Point. Hardly a tourist as visit well established folk and know the inn's and outs. But not a local obviously.

Well no I'm not German, just as your not Australian. I'm ever grateful, I don't inhabit your universe though. Airstrip one a form of comic relief on your part I expect.
