We don't want to sound like 'winging pomms' but sometimes think the Aussies drive you to it... .
An Uncle of my wife was a docter and he went to Australia and they said he had to re-take some of his exams again to pratice as a Docter, he now works for Westpac in Sydney.

Funny how things work out

You can't figure it out as on the one hand they say UK is a comparable country and culture and then make us retake all sorts.

I just came across a copy of "Logistics" magazine, an aussie publication 'for the supply chain professional'.
It's not a hugely gripping read but may have a few leads you could follow.
They have a web site, try: http://www.ferret.com.au/logistics/

I read an article in a UK Truck Magazine a couple of years ago about a Safeway RDC in Melbourne. They spent some time there finding out what the job was like for drivers making comparisons with the UK.

From what I remember it was very positive stuff. They did emphasize that it was one of the better jobs to be had in Transport.

The average weekly wage was between £400 - £600. The driver they spent most time with only worked days 0500 - 1400 (can't remember if they had a shift system in place.) with excellent holiday entitlement and the other thing no M25, M6, M1, etc!!
