Do you plan to live in Melbourne or country Victoria? Compared to Perth and WA in Victoria the climate is cooler, winters are cold it snows in some parts and the contryside in greener. There are alot more people around 5 million in Victoria comapred to 1.8 million in WA. Some of the most scenic areas to visit are the west coast and the great Ocean road, some of the best surf beaches in the world and plenty of nice coastal towns such as Queenscliff, Torquay, Angleasea, Appollo Bay, Port Fairy,. The Grampian Ranges in the West and the Snowy mountains in the east of the state are great places to vistit as well as the Dandenong ranges and Gippsland region just outside Melbourne.
