I will be returning home to Australia asap but nowhere can I find a simple list of Govt. Approved Vets in UK specifically in Northern Scotland and East Sussex for the lengthy preparations for shipping my beloved Australian Kelpie to the new enforced 10 day quarantine place in Mickleham Vic (via Tullamarine Airport)
Does anyone know of a web site in UK that can give me this list.There are so many websites but all just 'waffle' around without producing a list.

Are you arranging the shipping yourself? If you are using someone like Petair or Jetpets they can help with the vet details for you

I would strongly suggest you use a professional pet shipping company. There are a huge number of regulations, plus each airline has their own rules and even particular transit airports. Then, things can change suddenly. For example, our little one was due to fly with an airline who the day before flying announced a ban on all dogs. Could have been a disaster, but the pet shippers sorted it.

Thank you for quick replies. When I came from Aus to UK I used Passport for Pets and one single AQIS vet in Canberra then Dogtainers for the shipping, all extremely easy and efficient. The 6 X A4 pages for Shipping Dogs UK to Australia is so complicated I will certainly have to check in with a professional pet shipping company. Since my post I have now received a list of Govt Approved Vets in the areas I wanted (even then my request was shunted around several times before a department sent the list.
