Thanks for clarifying, sorry, I probably wasn't very specific. The relevance of getting my UK healthcare provider recognised is not to avoid LHC loading but to avoid the 12 month waiting periods for any existing illnesses. As I have just had a number of claims in the UK, that is relatively important to me. And unfortunately I am above the salary thresholds (well in theory if I get a job in the current market!), so I might as well take it out for that as well.
