Default Life insurance

Hi all, what do we do about life insurance? Do we cancel it here? keep it running for a month until we get it in OZ?
Any suggestions?

We've keep one running in the UK, paid for out of our bank account by direct debit.

But we've also got one here as we have large commitments and a mortgage. Only keep the UK one as its cheap and can still afford it. In a couple of years may wish to re-look.

I wouldn't put myself in a position where I didn't have any, no harm in overlapping for a while.

Tracey.

Hi
My advice is to check whether your existing policy allows continued cover while you are out of the UK first. Life assurance policies usually have terms and conditions stating the position.

You'd better check your terms and conditions. If your policy says you must be a UK resident then they won't give your premiums back to your family if anything happens to you.
