Life Insurance
I presume that any UK Life Insurance policies would be invalid if you are out of the country for more than a few months. Therefore, have people got sorted out with Life Insurance before going out to Australia (can you?) or have they left their UK policies going until they have sorted it out Down Under?

Suggest you call your insurer and ask.

We, like the other poster have kept all out life insurance policies running from the UK, even critical illness. They are with St James Bank and Nationwide. No problems at all.
