Life In Brisbane
Hi Folks,
I`m moving to Brisbane in Feb 2006. I`m searching the net for pictures of Brisbane and also for any information about the kind of City it is and what life is like there.
I`ve looked at some of the pics on this site and am wondering if any of you know any useful resources (apart from ourbrisbane.com) that are specific to Brisbane.
I`ve never been to Oz so I`m sure it`ll all be quite a culture shock!
I`m interested in things like:
The quality of public transport.
Any places to avoid, bad areas?
Shops, prices of stuff
The good and the bad really. The trouble with a lot of the stuff on the net is that it is biased towards the promotion of the city so they don`t really tell you what it`s really like.
I know this is a very vague question!
It`s hard to imagine what a place will be like withoit ever speaking to someone who actually lives there though.
