Default Letton Percival Insurance

Hi all

We have the shippers coming in next week & have the paperwork to fill in for Letton Percival. We were just wondering if anyone has used them & has had cause to claim - what have their experiences been?

Also - the policy does not cover electric derangement - under what circumstances does this occur - is it more likely to occur when shipping at certain times of the year? Our ship leaves the UK on 12/11 & is going to Perth.

Any feedback would be appreciated. We are thinking of only insuring the more expensive stuff - ie tv & electrical stuff & the best bots of furniture - is this a viable option?

Cheers all

Do a search for Letton Percival - they've been mentioned loads (and mostly in a good light if memory serves).
Not sure about electrical derangement but I wouldn't imagine time of year matters - your telly will pass through all types of weather on the way!
