Let Jag...zzz sorry Jet Lag

Re: Let Jag...zzz sorry Jet Lag
Many thanks for all the info and help. I am a little wary of the pills and potions methods but I will research them a little more. We have prepared a sleeping plan based on the time at destination to try and get the old body onto the correct time. I am a bit dubious as to whether this will work because I am not so good at sleeping on planes. Maybe a good nights sleep prior to travelling and a little Mrs Bleggy loving on my return will help.

Re: Let Jag...zzz sorry Jet Lag
avoid alcahol
avoid tea and coffee or any other stimulants
dont eat too much
when you get on the plane adjust your watch to the destination
try and have a stopover en-route if you can
someone told me that it takes a day to adjust for every 2 hours shifted in
time zone
Hard to avoid really though, although I didnt get jet lag going there only
on the way back to the UK.

Re: Let Jag...zzz sorry Jet Lag
Went to Sydney last November and landed in the morning, about 9 am. We were
immediately taken out for a walk, and given loads to do. We were absolutely
dead on our feet. However, that night we had a barbie and a few glasses of
wine and slept like the dead. Woke up day 2 absolutely fine.
Last time I went, I got my head down when I felt really tired and it took me
two weeks to adjust. I guess you have to work through it.

Whether or not we had ever bought natural before that I couldn't tell you so this study is not very scientific.

You may not have been able to tell if they were Synthetic or Natural. I can not see anything on the bottle I have that states either way. I will have a look on their web site and see what it says there. (www.bestnutrition.com).
Thanks for your reply.

Once you can't see 30 in the rear-view mirror anymore, but instead the exit
to age 40 is coming up, the getting blotted thing doesn't work so well -
you simply need too long to recover from the hangover.
So, if you want to minimize downtime, try using Melatonin to reset your
body clock. Works wonders for me - but not for everybody, apparently (my
wife says it makes her feel about as hungover as getting sloshed, although
less dehydrated).
If you can, choose a flight that gets you into Australia (or anywhere, for
that matter) in the late afternoon. Take a tablet. Have a nice dinner, some
good heavy red wine. Presto!

My doctor has prescribed a glass of Henschke to be taken in heavy doses on arrival. Who am I to argue.
Bottoms up
