Leaving for the Gold Coast on the 22nd Jan
Hello
I haven't posted often but just to let you all know that we are leaving on Emirates from Manchester on the evening of 22nd January. We only exchanged on the house yesterday after one sale fell through at the last minute...it sold again the next day. Our furniture etc went out at the beginning of December and is there now. We have a rental already in Robina and my little girl is going to school at the end of January. I feel very anxious at the moment, hoping that we are doing the right thing!!! But I suppose that is normal. I'll let you know how it goes. By the way, is there any one else on this flight? Yorkies |

Hi,
Good luck you will be just fine. We are hoping to leave next year and are heading for Robina... Went for a month to Oz last year and loved Robina, it had everything that we wanted and me being a nurse there is a hospital there too.... Good luck again, let us all know how you get on. How old is your daughter and have you already arranged schooling or are you waiting to you get there???? Tracey x:) |

My daughter is 5 and went into year 1 in September 2006. She will start Year 1 in Australia along with all the other children starting school. We have her registered at Varsity College, though when we arrive we will only have 2 days to sort out the rest of the paperwork and get her uniform!!!! It's going to be stressful!!!! Yorkies |

when in august did you go? we were there at the end going into september!
We were there from the 2nd August. It was good, but certainly not a holiday as we were looking around so much. Wasn't much fun for our daughter being in the car most of the time gong from place to place. But she had her birthday over there and we made her day special. Yorkies |

Hi there, unfortunately we are not going yet but hope that it will be in the not too distant future (still waiting for the bl**dy house to go through). We have some friends who live in Robina (Clear Island Waters) and we will stay with them when we arrive until we can find somewhere to rent. Have a safe and pleasant journey and all the very best for the future and who knows we might see you there at some point (we will have to do a reccie in May if the house does not go through in time). Let us know how you get on.:)
