leaving do wording help
 
may be a bit silly to ask but anyone who has had a leaving do what wording did you put on your invitations . just trying to do my mine now and i dont want it to sound stupid or over the top!

I just put Bye Bye.

Know what you mean about sounding flippant though. I thought about T'rar but dismissed it. Considered Boll**ks. :p Thought about G'day...settled on Bye Bye.

Mines in 7 days - -dreading it but looking forward to it too - - -if that makes sense.

well i got this of the net

We’ve packed up boxes
Lamps and chairs…………
Our home is somewhere new and
We couldn’t leave and settle in
Without telling you!
