Leaving AUS to get visa change
Can I just confirm this bonkers situation with someone... Myself and blokey birdey are presently in Oz on Temp resident visas, our permanent visa has now been granted. SO we have to phone our consultat in England to tell them which Oz embassy outside of Oz we will attend. They will then contact Adelaide, who will contact the out of Oz embassy to tell them when we will leave Oz and arrive in foreign country. Foreign country Oz embassy will then issue the new visa to us, so we can return to Oz..... Is it just me, or is this a little more complicated that it needs to be?
