Leather suite cleaner

HELP! We move our leather suite tomorrow to the new house, its going to look so grubby. Does anyone know of a good cleaning product.
I have rung round for proffesional cleaning but they are so expensive.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Denise

Baby wipes work quite well depending on how dirty it is.

I have a very light coloured leather suite and have found using toilet soap and a warm soft cloth brings it up a treat. I sometimes use a leather conditioner afterwards - very rarely tho'. Brings it up a treat.

Try you local car accessory shop. We use Autoglym leather cleaner on our sofa and it works a treat. We was advised not to use baby wipes or similar because they apparently dry out the leather causing it to crack over time. The autoglym stuff cleans it and also replenishes the natural oils in the leather.

I work in a furniture shop and we take in 2nd hand leathers. We only use soap flakes with a very soft brush and then depending on the quality of the leather we then use a clean and feed spray, which stops it drying out. Always brings them up lovely, and its not expensive. Hope this helps...Lol

www.screwfixdirect.co.uk do leather cleaning/conditioning wipes which are good and the other stuff I've used is a leather care kit that Lakeland plastics do:-

The wife also uses fairy soap, a soft nail brush, gives it good scrub, wipes it all down, then a leather solution, seems to bring it back to new looking, baring in mind we've had this one about 5 years and got 2 boys right into footy and think nothing of diving all over it when they're up the eyes with mud.

ps.
i think i'll come back as a leather suite in my next life !! ;)

Leather sofa was from Harvey Norman, 4000 dollars good buy we think.
Coffee table was just from one of the shops that sell Bali furniture, 300 dollars, but our friends wanted big coffee table so they bought one of the dining tables and cut the legs down, looks really nice. The coffee table has drawers in the sides which is great. Denise
