Re: Latest skilled occupations for State Nominated visas
Hi Rohit.
STNI visa applicants have to meet the same basic requirements as skilled independents (=> a skills assessment is needed), etc, but don't have to get to the pass mark. So for those who are on (say) 105 points and who have an occupation on the SA or Victoria skilled occupations list the STNI is a way forward. And State Nomination is definitely not a job offer, or a guarantee of employment in the State Does this clarify things? thanks for the prompt reply:) well skill assesment means that it has to pass through the acs,in other words, the 4 year experience criteria holds after 1st oct 2002..so in effect the only relaxationis the number of points we need to qualify,am i correct? regards rohit Originally posted by Alan Collett: Hi Rohit. Re: Latest skilled occupations for State Nominated visas
When i go through the revised list (VICTORIA) for IT people , i found the specialisations under computing professionals is same as that one listed under MODL. Will this imply that applicants who don't have MODL points doesn't get nomination under STNI.
Alan Collett, will you please clarify this.... |

Please help me answer question in some sense only related to Victoria STNI Scheme. I
hope to get a PR ( Skilled Independent) in very close future. Since I have not specified my destination in Australia yet , Victoria direction is also possible... I wonder if Victoria Government can help me anyhow if I decide to settle there. My job is listed on Skills in Demand List (7-12 2002 ) Thanks for help Nuta "Alan Collett" <[email protected]> wrote in message news:[email protected]... > Might be of interest to some ... http://www.gomatilda.com/news/article.cfm?articleid=224 > Best regards. > Alan Collett alan-at-gomatilda-dot-com Registered Migration Agent Number 0102534 > and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales > http://www.gomatilda.com and > http://www.collettandco.co.uk Offices > in Southampton, England; Perth, Australia; and Melbourne, Australia > -- > Alan Collett of Go Matilda, > http://www.gomatilda.com > Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
