Last minute flights
Did any of you lucky folks already there get last minute flights and save money by doing so? I know it seems risky but if you are lucky enough to be in a situation where you can take it day by day when you are ready to go, surely you could make savings?

Cost was 320 pounds per person - one way

thats great thanks, it would certainly seem worth it if you can do it. I was even thinking of asking about business class last minute if there is enough of a saving, definately worth a thought.

Re: Last minute flights
It does seem a bit risky waiting for last minute deals. Sometimes they don't even seem to be much of a deal anyway.
You seem to be able to get quite good prices anyway sometimes and I think its worth shopping around and looking out for those.

hi
have done the last minute thing and to be honest the bargains just aren't out there anymore. Its usually cheaper to book as soon as the flights become available, try www.dialaflight.com we found them to be the cheapest on a recent trip to oz. £2,000 for four of us (flightsand one night in 5* hotel in KL)
