Last few hours at work

Only got a couple of hours left of work and then I am unemployed. Can't wait. Off to Melbourne on Tuesday and it feels great not to have to work. Well until we arrive / find a job. Leaving party tomorrow night so I don't expect to see much of Saturday.......The excitement is starting to kick in. I have been pretty calm all the way through the build up but I think a dose of reality has kicked in.

NO MORE WORK FOR A WHILE

I cant wait for the last day at here, the team I work in Id wish the best as there genuine nice people, but the rest can go whislte.

Id get up, say that Id wish them all the best but I wont really mean it, to all the people who didnt have the decency to say hello to a new starter & still ignore people when walking past after working in same dept for 2 years.

Goodbye to the backstabbers who try to kick people for a step up the corparate ladder, for bully tactics for new members of staff & speaking to them like their school children.

In my last company I managed to gain Voluntary severance & p**sed some people off as due to my age, so on my last day before work I checked my back account, made sure the money payment had gone in, 6months tax free income. Went to work, messed about & sent an email to whole UK IT department to say "best of luck everyone, Im off to check out the different beaches around the world & does anyone know of a Tattoo remover as I need to take the name (company name) off my arse. Everyone was cracking up saying Id be escorted off the site before I left!

My manager came out red faced & fuming but there was nothing he could do much to my pleasure! Though we did keep in touch when I was travelling so he wasent that p**sed off!
