Largest Expat Community in Queensland
Just curious to know where in Queensland you would find the largest Brit Expat Communities?
Is it an even spread or are some areas more popular than others for Brits to settle?
Also your reasons for choosing where you are would make interesting reading for me.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Probably Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
I am in Cairns where all the Aussies want to live and that says something I think. Beautiful place. Lots to do. Lots to see.
You want peace ? you got it.
You want hubble bubble ? you got it.
You want unspoilt nature ? you got it.
You want good weather all year round ? you got it.
You want a friendly community ? you got it.
You want a big city ? don't come here.
You want traffic jams ? don't come here.
You want paradise ? it's the nearest I've seen whilst still remaining practicle.

Personally, I wouldn't choose a destination based on the expat community but there are a few of us here and a few more comng.

Not looking for 'Little Britain' but I'm coming on a Business Visa and Brit Expats would be an important part of my Customer base.
Guess I'm thinking with my Business head right now.
Not saying I would need to live in such areas, but it would help to know the best areas for basing the business.
Also have two Kids aged 10 and 14 so schools come into the equation also.
Regards,
HK.
