Default laptop question?

Has anyone taken a Dell M1210 laptop out to Oz? Does it work ok?

Can you get an Oz mains power lead for it??

Laptops are not country specific. It will work fine, no matter the model.

Then, once here, carefully take an Australian plug and after cutting off the UK one on the power lead, replace it with the Aussie one. Job done.

Just check that the warranty is worlwide as we brought our Dell Dimension 5000 with us and we were told it had a worldwide warranty, now we are here we have found out that this model is not sold here therefore we have no support as the warranty is not supported, check with Dell first.

Just double checked and I have 3 year international warranty, I double checked if this covered Australia and he said it would.

Nice one
