Default LAFHA Tax Implications for Company?

We are about to approach the UK company that is sponsorsing our visa about claiming LAFHA. They ARE paying us an allowance, but if there are any negative tax implications relating to them, I can guarantee that they wont let us approach the ATO. Does anyone know of anything that might cause a problem.

ATO is aware of the LAFHA arrangements. As long as the visa sponsored is 457 it is
quite legal in the ATO eyes.Beware though the sums of LAFHA shud sound genuine .You
cannot have 30,000 in salary and 50,000 in LAFHA ..Know what I mean ...

Check the www.ato.gov.au site and read the regulation .

Cheers, JB
