Hi im Jay... am looking for work as a Laboiurer in the construction industry. anything considered. I am on a working hol visa.

In the Ballina NSW area

well we are all well aware of the reality...... and when trying everything..... including trying advertising on here........ a response like that is really not a helpful one!!!!!!!!!

As far as Dinner-dash (or anyone else) knows, you may not be aware of the situation. Him pointing you to a thread about the problems others are facing could have been very helpful (and may well be to other migrants). I understand it's worrying when you're needing work, but a) it's unlikely you'll find work on this type of forum and b) if someone on here was in need of a labourer in and around Ballina, they may decide they don't like your response.

Hubby is often down around there and has said that many sites are just closing up and not much happening. You may need to travel around to find the work.
