Interesting to read that 'they' are predicting that IT jobs will/are still in demand yet there are rumors flying about that IT jobs may be downgraded (revised) to a 50 point profession??

Of course the report is written for 'native' graduates of the University of Melbourne and this does not necessarily mean that there will be places in the migrant intake (or as many points) for this occupation. From what I've seen and read there are signs that the market for I.T. jobs is not as buoyant as it used to be. This is for a variety of reasons - more graduates in this field chasing the jobs, the outsourcing of jobs overseas, insourcing (? - immigrant I.T. workers) and so on.

P.S. I always thought that 91.87653% of statistics were made up on the spot!
