Have been researching Labour Agreements - getting an Oz company to prepare a Labour Agreement appears to be a straightforward path to applying for a permanent visa - is it really that simple? Any comments welcome.

We came across via the labour agreement route. The Oz company has to apply for a labour agreement first and then once approved, you then apply under the labour agreement. They seem to get processed very quickly!

Hi, thanks for quick response. Did you emigrate on a Permanent visa with the Labour Agreement?

Yes we did. The slowest part of the process was us waiting to be asked for medicals. Quite a few people who have come over the same as us (via the Australia Army), sent the medicals along with the visa application. This speeds the application up considerably!
